She likes strings, but I thought I’d give ‘em a try.
I put dry cat food in one, but first I gave her one filled with catnip. She liked the catnip one for a minute, but she’s not interested in the food one. We’ve tried, believe me!
I think that a kitten would get it, but my 9 year old fat cat just looks at like, “You roll it, I’ll pick up what it drops….”
As for the design, a screw mechanism on the inside of the ball would help: to OPEN, squeeze at just the right spot along the seam of the the 2 halves. To close is a bit harder, especially when full of kibble/catnip: squeeze together HARD….I imagine you have to get it in just the right spot to close as you do to open. There are little teeth along the inside rim of one half that after a few minutes of trying to get it back together, look like they’ll be snapping off pretty soon.
But my cat isn’t interested anyway, so I may give them to the Goodwill or something. My cat is too lazy and not inspired by this, but I’m sure there are rambunctious cats out there that would like these.

My cats love these treats. They are really hard so they have to chew them so hopefully they are cleaning their teeth. My vet wanted ,400 to clean my cat’s teeth. That’s just not going to happen. This is reasonable alternative that the cats enjoy. BTW: My cats are picky when it comes to treats but they really like these. If I can’t find them, I shake the jar and they come within a few seconds. They double as a cat caller.
I rescued a cat not long ago and have had a hard time getting him to come out from under my sofa. When offered about four other kinds of treats he turned up his nose, these were the only treats that would get him out from under the couch! They must taste good!

I found these in a local Petco and decided to try them with my friend’s cat. The cat has gone crazy for these things! I’ve never seen this cat walk around on two legs, try to climb my arm to get to the treat in my hand, or reach into a bag to try to get to the contents before I gave her some of these. The name is very fitting, but the real temptation is for we humans to keep giving just *one* more treat to the cat over and over again to enjoy the fun reactions.
I am sorry but the below reviewer is absolutely talking non-scence. I have 7 cats and 8 bags of these in my cabinets but I have gone days on end without giving these to ANY of my cats and they are absolutely fine. Also I run a shelter with a LOT of cats and have not had them acted like she sais.
These cat treats have the ingredients on the label and just like any cat treat cats love them… My cats also love Party Mix, does that mean they are drugged product.
That being said please do not listen to non-scence on these ratings.
My cats do love these temptations… They do not beg for them,,,, but they do like them!
I feed them each 10 treats at home at a time, the suggested ammount and of course they could go for more (because it is a snack)…
I love that these taste good to the cats but they are also very healthy!!!!
I have 7 cats. One of my cats will only eat 4-5 treats and she gets FULL easy and the rest can eat ALL that I put down…….. My neighbor sais that her cats do not like them because they are spoiled on “people food”… I was shocked when she returned the bag I sent them for Christmas!
I tried to get them to eat them also and they walked away, tried to also put one in there mouth…
I also have 35 cats in our shelter and they ALL love these treats, they will eat as many as you give them…. We cannot afford to buy these for them all the time but we get it for them every few months.. We keep them all the time for our own cats!
They are a great product, I like to buy the large bags because you are saving money!
